Senator Pierre Dalphond, Leader of the Progressive Senate Group (PSG), is pleased to welcome Senator Tracy Muggli to the PSG.

“Senator Muggli’s achievements prior to her appointment certainly highlight her commitment to public service, social justice, and community. Independent members of the PSG look forward to working with her as she continues to serve her province of Saskatchewan and indeed all Canadians,” Senator Dalphond said.

“My life and work experience has always been motivated by seeking social justice, which I have applied in my work as a health care administrator, and more recently through my commitment to responding to the TRC Calls to Action. I see alignment with my personal values in the PSG,” said Senator Muggli.

The Progressive Senators believe in a more independent Senate, equality amongst senators, Charter values, diversity, reconciliation, and policies directed towards sustainable, inclusive, and shared prosperity in Canada.
